Understanding Risks

We hear people talking about attention to detail all the time and it is important in our job, but what’s more important to us is understanding and assesing the risks.

With our initial enquiries, we offer a meet and greet. You might ask why, so we will share a few reasons.

It’s really important that you vet anyone you are inviting to work in your home, and one good way to do this is to meet them in person.

This is a two way thing. Our staff safety is paramount and we also need to vet our clients and properties for the same reasons which is why we offer our free meet and greet before hand. These meeting allow us to have an informal chat, and start building that relationship and trust from your initial enquiry.

It also allow for us to walk through the property and assess any risks such as loose or cracked tiles or floorboards, shower fittings, faulty power sockets, tricky shower screens, high to reach windows, dodgy doors, that drawer handle that keeps falling off etc. Yes all these things are discussed, and its good to know these things and minimise risks before we start work.

It’s also important for us to know what surfaces we will be working with. Many of the properties we work in have lots of stone, marble, grantite and natural surfaces and floors, and hand painted cabinets. Doing our due dilligence allows us to select the right products to clean those surfaces. (It’s surprising how much damage can be caused by using the incorrect products)

The products we use are professional grade concentrated products. These products produce better results, are kinder to your health and home and our staffs health, and by refilling our bottles this way, we are also reducing our waste which is something we are very conscious of.

We want to offer peace of mind to all our clients and these are just a few things we do to help achieve this.

If you are considering a cleaning service for your home or office, it is definitely worth considering the points above to help you with your decisions before hiring.

We are here to help with any enquiries and can be contacted via Whatsapp 07920 069205 or email info@manorhouse-cleaning.co.uk.
